BACKGROUND
I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in educational, clinical, and private practice settings. Throughout my career, I have served as a school psychologist, Director of Special Services, graduate-level instructor, and private practitioner, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges young people face. As a school psychologist, I conducted evaluations for students with learning disabilities, attention difficulties, emotional concerns, and other conditions that impact learning and development. As Director of Special Services, I supervised multidisciplinary teams and provided guidance on special education law, educational programming, and intervention planning. In my private practice, I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help children and adolescents manage anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, school-related stress, social difficulties, and life transitions. My work focuses on helping young people identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, improve problem-solving skills, and strengthen self-confidence. My unique background in psychology, education, and child development allows me to partner closely with families to support children and adolescents in reaching their full potential both in school and in their everyday lives.
